About the NeuroArt Series
Scientific studies increasingly confirm that humans are wired for art. Various arts can improve our mental, emotional and physical health, prevent, manage and recover from various conditions.
The oldest archeological discoveries reveal human pursuit of self-expression. Recent studies showed that during the recent pandemic people turned to arts in order to manage their feelings. That was when NeuroGraphic Art became well known.
NeuroGraphic Art is generally described as a therapeutic art form and it is based on NeuroGraphica© of Pavel Piskarev PhD, who coined the term in 2014 and developed the method. Since then NeuroGraphic Art has gained popularity around the world.
Positive results of drawing NeuroGraphica have been scientifically proven and validated. It is one of the most widely used psychological techniques in art therapy today.
While traditional NeuroGraphic Art that you can find on YouTube and in colouring books explores lines and circles, this NeuroArt Series, beginning with the first class, will take you on an engaging and stimulating journey into the world of NeuroArt, filled with new ideas, insights and self-discovery moments.
We will explore NeuroArt further and enrich traditional NeuroGraphic Art drawings with many elements, from sacred geometry and mandalas to realistic images.
Drawing NeuroArt (similarly to NeuroGraphica) supports a meditative state of awareness and enhances creativity through the creation of new neural connections. NeuroArt allows creative freedom, while engaging the mind and brain in a purposeful drawing activity.
This art form requires no previous experience or expensive art materials.
I am a professional artist and certified NeuroGraphica instructor and will be happy to explore NeuroArt with you while guiding and explaining
