The Root Chakra, or Muladhara, is responsible for our physical existence and health. It’s the energetic foundation of our body and mind.
The root chakra embodies our relationship with the physical world. This includes the body, aspects of self, sense of security and survival, and connection to the environment.

The root chakra is related to our basic needs: primal and ancestral instincts (flight-or-fight response), survival instincts, such as eating, sleeping, exercising, housing, financial security, sense of safety, and stability.
