How to Become a Certified NeuroGraphica Specialist or Instructor (Levels 1–3 Explained)

• Explains the official NeuroGraphica certification path (Levels 1–3) • Clarifies the difference between Basic User, Specialist, and Instructor training • Outlines teaching permissions at each level • Provides guidance on where to apply for official instructor certification

Many people ask me how to become a certified NeuroGraphica instructor and what the official NeuroGraphica certification pathway involves.

NeuroGraphica, developed by Dr. Pavel Piskarev, is more than relaxing drawing. It is a structured art-based methodology rooted in psychology, creative thinking, and personal transformation. Teaching NeuroGraphica requires formal training, practice, and certification through the established multi-level system.

Some students discover NeuroGraphica through the Basic User Course and later consider instructor training. Others are specifically searching for information about NeuroGraphica instructor certification and the requirements involved.

In this article, I outline the current certification structure, including the Basic User Course (Level 1), Specialist Training (Level 2), and official Instructor Training (Level 3), so you can better understand the pathway.

My own journey began as a student seeking personal support through the method. After experiencing its depth, I integrated NeuroGraphica into my work as an art educator and continue to teach foundational courses within the official structure.

How to start teaching Neurographica

Alina is teaching one of her first Neurographica classes.

The Official Path: Neurographica Levels 1, 2, and 3

Level 1: Basic User Course

This is the foundational course and the entry point into the NeuroGraphica methodology. It typically takes approximately 8 hours and introduces the core principles and drawing algorithms, including the well-known Algorithm for Removing Limitations.

Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion for personal use. This confirms foundational understanding and allows students to decide whether they wish to continue further.

Level 1 courses are offered by certified instructors worldwide. If you would like to start with the NeuroGraphica Basic User Course with me, you can find enrollment details here: Basic User Course

Level 2: Specialist Training

The Specialist level is designed primarily for professionals such as coaches, psychologists, and art therapists who wish to integrate NeuroGraphica techniques into their existing practice.

This training introduces selected advanced techniques that may be used in client work. However, teaching is limited to a few techniques. Only specific algorithms (such as NeuroRain, NeuroTree, NeuroLotus, NeuroSnow, and NeuroIkigai) may be taught in group settings under this certification level. Other techniques remain restricted to one-on-one client use.

Currently, this program is offered exclusively by the official institute.

Level 3: NeuroGraphica Instructor Training

This is the formal certification pathway for becoming a NeuroGraphica instructor.

It is a year-long program offered exclusively by the Institute of NeuroGraphica and the Psychology of Creativity. The training includes weekly classes, structured drawing assignments, supervised teaching practice, and final diploma assessment.

This program represents a substantial professional commitment in both time and investment.

Frequently Asked Questions About NeuroGraphica Certification

How long does it take to become a certified NeuroGraphica instructor?

Instructor training typically lasts approximately one year through the official institute.

Can I teach NeuroGraphica after Level 1?

Level 1 (Basic User Course) provides personal certification. Teaching requires additional levels within the official system.

Where can I enroll in NeuroGraphica instructor training?

Instructor certification is offered exclusively through The Institute of NeuroGraphica and Psychology of Creativity

Why Choose My Basic User Course

My Basic User Course follows the official Level 1 curriculum required within the NeuroGraphica certification system. This includes core techniques such as the three variations of the Algorithm for Removing Limitations and the Algorithm for Revealing Intentions.

Alongside the required structure, I integrate additional guided practice, selected elements inspired by more advanced levels, and a clear, methodical teaching approach.

If you are considering the NeuroGraphica certification pathway, Level 1 provides the necessary foundation before progressing to Specialist or Instructor training. If your interest is primarily personal growth, the Basic User Course offers structured tools that can be applied independently.

Although I hold coaching qualifications, my classes focus on teaching the methodology itself rather than blending it with coaching interventions. My background in engineering, art education, and structured facilitation shapes a learning environment that emphasizes clarity, precision, and personal responsibility in practice.

Over the years, students have shared that this course supported their creative development, strengthened focus, and deepened their understanding of the method, with some later choosing to continue toward higher certification levels.

In spring of 2022 I started with the Basic Users Course with you. So I can say, everything you write here clearly and concisely is very recognizable Alina.

However, you have emphasized one very important point less and that is your personal guidance with every assignment submitted by your students (as far as I know you are the only one who does this). In my experience, your valuable comments about our work are always extremely educational, which is why I still often listen to your comments on the work of others.

As said, very educational and often also a refresher of what we have actually already learned. Furthermore Alina, you do put a lot of effort into helping your students; for example:
English is not my first language. Although I understand a lot and can express myself in English, I am not very fluent in it and still miss crucial information during classes and recordings.
Therefore because of these translation-options with subtitles, you always make sure that I have access to this YouTube version of your recordings. That's why I can complete my modules one of these days.

So also via this way, thank you very much for that Alina and your unwavering support.

Warm regards.

Thank you so much, Vikky, for your beautiful comment. It truly touched me. 💛

Your dedication, not just in Neurographica courses but also in our Facebook group, has always stood out to me. I really appreciate your presence and thoughts in our communication.

You're right, individual feedback has always been a key part of how I teach. I'm so glad to hear that my comments have been helpful and that you’ve even continued to listen to feedback on others’ work.

Thank you also for your kind words about the extra support I try to provide, especially with translations and video recordings. I know it’s not always easy when English isn’t your first language, and I really admire your persistence and openness.

I had big plans to enhance the program this past February with updated videos, handouts, and better tools, including translations. But due to an unexpected and stressful family situation, I wasn’t able to edit the video classes as planned. Still, I’m hopeful that these improvements will be implemented soon.

Thank you again for being such an active, thoughtful part of our community.

With warmest regards,
Alina.
