The NeuroGraphica Basic User course is the official Level 1 curriculum created by Dr. Pavel Piskarev, founder of NeuroGraphica.
It is taught internationally by certified instructors, each bringing their own teaching style.
This course is designed for people who feel mentally overloaded, stuck, or in need of a shift, even if they can’t yet clearly define what that shift is.
If you’ve been curious about neurographic drawing as a way to work with stress, gain clarity, or reconnect with a calmer, more focused state, this course offers a structured and practical introduction.
Over four weeks, you will take part in four guided drawing sessions. Each session is followed by a short reflection to help you notice subtle changes in your thoughts, emotions, and overall state.
During the course, you’ll be supported through a combination of guided practice, feedback, and simple step-by-step instructions:
Access to recordings of previous courses – 7+ hours each, allowing you to revisit the process, deepen your understanding, and move at your own pace.
Four assignments with personalized feedback to support your growth
Written material / guides for the entire course
Email Q&A support plus a short quiz to deepen your learning
Certificate of Completion from the Institute of Neurographica and Psychology of Creativity
Special discount on future courses for continuing your journey
Bonus classes introducing advanced Instructor-level techniques — a unique glimpse into what’s possible if you choose to go further.
By the end of the course, you will have a simple, repeatable process you can return to whenever you need to reset, reflect, or regain clarity.
NeuroGraphica combines art and psychology through a structured drawing process.
Rather than focusing on artistic results, it offers a clear framework for working with stress, inner resistance, and recurring thought patterns.
Many participants experience a sense of calm, focus, or emotional shift during the process — even from the first session.
No artistic background or previous experience is required.
This course is designed for personal practice and self-exploration.
It does not provide teaching or professional certification rights.
This course may be a good fit for you if:
You feel mentally overloaded and are looking for a simple, guided way to slow down and regain clarity
You are interested in inner work, but prefer something practical and guided, not purely theoretical
You may not consider yourself an artist, but you’re open to using drawing as a tool for focus and reflection
You appreciate step-by-step processes that help you stay on track, rather than complete creative freedom
You’ve tried things like journaling or meditation, and you’re looking for a more tangible, hands-on approach
You’re willing to stay with the process, even when it feels unfamiliar at first.
You are mainly looking for artistic freedom or self-expression without suggested steps
(this is a guided process rather than open-ended drawing)
You are an experienced artist who prefers to follow your own visual instincts rather than a guided method
You are looking for a fully intellectual or scientific explanation of every step
(the course is primarily experiential)
You expect fast results without repetition or practice.
If you’re somewhere in between, curious, open, and looking for a structured way to work with your inner state, this course may offer something valuable.
This course is structured and gentle in its approach, but the experience is not always simple or immediately satisfying.
During the process, you may notice:
Moments of resistance, especially when continuing beyond your familiar point
Occasional emotional responses or tension connected to your chosen topic
Periods where your drawing feels unclear, messy, or not aesthetically pleasing
A sense that the results are subtle or gradual, rather than immediate
Some parts of the method are more intuitive and may not feel fully logical at first. There isn’t always a single “correct” way to make certain decisions, such as where to place lines or how to develop the composition.
This is a normal part of the process.
You don’t need to get everything right. The value often comes from staying with the process and observing what changes over time.
If you’re open to exploring your experience with curiosity, including moments of uncertainty or imperfection, this process tends to become more meaningful with practice.
